Employment Information
The Town of South Fork employs ten full time employees, including the police chief and one full time police officer. In addition, there are six part-time employee. The human resources department assists in the hiring of employees, benefit administration and safety policy compliance. Full time employees are provided with health, dental, vision and life insurance. Employees are eligible to join the pre-tax Aflac plan, but premiums are the employees responsibility. Retirement is provided to full time employees through CCOERA, and to full-time police officers through FPPA.
All applications require the electronic submission of a cover letter, resume, at least five professional references and a Town of South Fork Employment Application.

Every year the Town has many dedicated volunteers that assist Town staff to fulfill the critical needs of our community. The Town couldn't provide the range of community services and programs without the support of its volunteers.
Volunteer opportunities are available in a variety of Town Departments and Divisions. Please contact them directly to learn more. To volunteer a Volunteer Liability and Waiver Form will need to be filled out.
