Employment Information
The Town of South Fork employs nine full time employees, including the police chief and two full time police officer. In addition, there are three part-time employee. The human resources department assists in the hiring of employees, benefit administration and safety policy compliance. Full time employees are provided with health, dental, vision and life insurance. Employees are eligible to join the pre-tax Aflac plan, but premiums are the employees responsibility. Retirement is provided to full time employees through CCOERA, and to full-time police officers through FPPA.

Town of South Fork – Police Officer The Town of South Fork is taking applications for a full-time Police Officer. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, of good moral character and possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. No Felony or disqualifying Misdemeanor convictions, crimes of moral turpitude or Domestic Violence convictions. The Town provides all equipment for the successful candidate and a take home patrol vehicle (restrictions apply).
